Vampire Weekend – Vampire Weekend
Very fun album with clever lyrics. I really like British bands that actually sound like they are from Britain, and these guys sound very, very British. This was one of my favorites from the last year.
Must Hear: “Oxford Comma”, “A-Punk”
We Are Scientists – Brain Thrust Mastery
Honestly, I threw this one in at the end of the list to make an even number. This album pretty good though. These guys make pretty goofy songs sometimes, but the overall songwriting is fairly entertaining.
Must Hear: “Ghouls”, “After Hours”
