Cut Copy – In Ghost Colours
I honestly wasn’t a huge fan of electronic music going into this year, but I decided to give this album a spin after hearing their song “Lights and Music.” The album is pretty solid the whole way through and I would totally play it if I was a DJ at a Berlin dance club.
Must Hear: “Hearts on Fire”, “Strangers In The Wind”
David Byrne and Brian Eno – Everything That Happens Will Happen Today
I absolutely love both these guys (especially Mr. Eno) and apparently they have worked together before, so needless to say I was intrigued. The album definitely has a Talking Heads feel with a bunch of pretty, pretty sounds thrown in underneath courtesy of the ambient god, Brian Eno.
Must Hear: “Everything That Happens Will”, “I Feel My Stuff”
